Every season, key jacket styles in the Nike Snowboarding outerwear line receive a special patch marking it as a “premium” selection piece. The Holladay jacket is a traditional collegiate style bomber jacket. Keeping with the collegiate form ,the patch was designed as a traditional sports marking symbolizing Nike Snowboarding and Oregon.

I traveled down to California for a few months this year to spend some time with the wonderful design firm 72&Sunny. Over the course of my time there I was able to meet some amazing creatives and be a part of some great work. 2K Sports was one of the clients I was tasked on. Being a huge gamer, I enjoyed the opportunity to create the covers for Top Spin 4 and MLB2K11. The creative was drafted from the highly successful NBA2K11 branding.

The Nike Snowboarding Greasebus Tour consisted of two parts. An editorial piece done by Snowboarder Magazine and Web Video/Photo content done by my team.

The creative of the tour was inspired by B Horror movies. “You must do your part to ride this bus.” was our theme. The athletes had to eat greasy food to power the Greasebus. This story was set in order to communicate the sustainable benefits to using grease not gas.

Been working on a little project the past few weeks. Finally finished now. Made my wonderful new piece of technology old. Obviously because older is “better” these days…

Over the summer I had the opportunity to design what was to be the USA Snowboard Team Olympic Glove. Months past after the design was completed so the project faded out of my mind a bit until the past few weeks when the Olympics started. I must say, I’m very glad I was given the chance to have something although very simple in design, be presented at such a prestiges event. Here they are after the final approval. My original design was to have the glove white and in final production they became navy blue. All in all, it was amazing and I thank Nike for allowing me to take part.

Every year Nike Snowboarding releases a special edition Danny Kass Double Tongue Boot. This years focus was around a Space Mission Campaign with web viral videos/photos released once a week for 4 weeks and this teaser window display. This is the window display we came up with after many, many, many, many different ideas. Turned out great.

I spent most of my summer working along side my friends at Nike Snowboarding developing this “Look Book” for brand promotion. The goal was to create a book that harnessed the qualities and characteristics of the personalities involved within the brand. This was also used as a promotional debut for the new “Kaiju” snowboard boot. These books were given to shops carrying Nike Snowboarding product as a give away item for customers.

This project has been going on for some time now. From gathering all the assets, figuring out the copy and a functional layout, I’m glad to see it completed. I finally received the final printed product today. This is an in-house Year End Portfolio for Nike 6.0 that catalogues all of their media outlets over Fiscal Year 09.

A few months ago I was tasked with designing/setting up the in store layout and graphics treatment for the on-campus Nike Employee Store for Nike Snowboarding. Here are a few flicks of how it turned out.
